Standard First Aid

This one-day first aid course provides you with the skills and knowledge to respond to incidents

in the home, workplace or community until advanced medical services arrive.

Course content

• Allergic reactions
• Bleeding
• Burns
• Heat & cold emergencies
• Injuries to muscle, bones and joints
• Poisoning 
• Seizures 
• Sudden illnesses including asthma, seizures, diabetic emergencies

Assessment

• 100% attendance
• skills demonstration
• 80% minimum grade on written exam

Certification

2 year certification in Standard First Aid
